About the Role
Futbol Fever, one of Miamiās premier indoor facilities for 3 years, is launching a new youth recreational soccer academy in Miami opening in September 2024, seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our coaching team.
As a coach at Futbol Fever, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young athletes while fostering their love for the game of soccer. We are looking for passionate individuals who are committed to providing high-quality coaching in a fun and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging and age-appropriate soccer training sessions for children ages 1-12 years old.
- Implement skill-building drills and exercises to improve players' technical abilities.
- Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere where all players feel valued and supported.
- Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to players to help them reach their full potential.
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect for fellow players, coaches and parents.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding player progress, team schedules, and other important information.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development opportunities as required.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during training sessions and games.
Requirements
Previous coaching experience, preferably in youth soccer or a related field.
Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals, rules, and strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with players of all ages and skill levels.
Passion for working with children and helping them develop both on and off the field.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to undergo background checks and complete any required certifications or training.
15-25+ hours per week, including evenings Monday-Friday and Saturday mornings
